Hiring Without Bias, Building Fair and Inclusive Interview Processes
Samvinna | Collaboration06.02.2026ENG
Many interview processes unintentionally favor certain backgrounds, communication styles, or experiences. In this talk, I’ll explore how bias shows up in technical interviews and how structured, transparent processes can help reduce it. Drawing from my experience as an interviewer and facilitator in a large engineering organization, I’ll share practical ways to identify bias, use clear rubrics, and create an environment where every candidate has an equal opportunity to succeed.
By focusing on fairness and inclusion, we can build stronger, more diverse teams and make hiring decisions that truly reflect candidates’ skills, not our assumptions.
