Improving corporate communication: From jargon to joint understanding
Effective corporate communication can be tricky, especially between teams with different areas of expertise. How do we navigate these waters to reduce misunderstandings and waste in our daily work?
Consider an example: Specific topics like data protection call for careful consideration of how to present them effectively enough for all involved parties to gain the right amount of interest and understanding. Venturing out of one’s comfort zone and putting complex concepts into practical terms is key.
Whether it’s speaking less formally or letting go of industry jargon we’ve spent years to master, many of us can afford to rethink our strategy when it comes to presenting our ideas.
