Shift Happens: charting the journey to become a product-led organization
Shifting from service-led to product-led business strategy and product development has been key in Kaptio becoming, perhaps counter-intuitively, more customer-focused and in-tune with industry trends and needs. Kaptio developed three leading product principles that now guide design and development, and these have helped map the course towards becoming a more holistic product-led organization.
Unnur Ösp Ásgrímsdóttir, Kaptio
Director of Product
Unnur Ösp has a passion for design, strategy, and innovation. She studied Industrial Design Engineering at Aalborg University in Denmark, earning her masters degree in 2011. She has embarked on several key roles in Iceland in the product and design space, including roles at Össur, Tempo, Norda, and Kaptio. Unnur has been with Kaptio now for two years and has been integral in ushering the company into a new phase of user-centered, product-led growth.
